(Dan Tri) – Ly Hai’s `Face Off 7: One Wish` was usurped from the Vietnamese box office throne after 3 weeks by `Doraemon: Nobita and the Earth Symphony`.

Doraemon: Nobita and the Earth Symphony has an official screening schedule from May 24 but has special screenings on May 18 and 19.

According to Box Office Vietnam, as of 4:00 p.m. on May 19, Doraemon had 2,679 screenings, sold 94,973 tickets, and earned 8.8 billion VND.

Thus, after nearly a month of release (from April 26), Ly Hai’s work was officially usurped at the Vietnamese box office by the animated films Doraemon: Nobita and Earth Symphony.

It can be seen that the attraction of the `legendary` character Doraemon is not only in comics but also on the big screen.

Doraemon: Nobita and the Earth Symphony revolves around the journey of Doraemon’s friends to the planet Museaca, where music is used as energy.

Sharing with Dan Tri reporter, the publisher of Doraemon: Nobita and Earth Symphony in Vietnam said that after more than 4 decades, the Doraemon movie series still maintains a huge attraction to Japanese audiences.

Some current movies have a number of episodes remade (remakes) with more eye-catching animation technology, attracting many audiences, especially young audiences every summer.

Talking about the position of Face Off 7: A Wish at the Vietnamese box office in the near future, Mr. Nguyen Khanh Duong – founder and operator of Box Office Vietnam – said that this week, there will be a number of movies released.
