In the last months of the year, most car models are launched by manufacturers and dealers to compete for sales.

Mazda CX-5, CX-30

In early December, the suggested retail price of the Mazda CX-30 was adjusted to increase by 25 million VND for both versions.

After adjustment, the new price of the CX-30 starts from 689 million VND for the standard Luxury version and highest at 729 million VND for the Premium variant.

The new price of the Mazda CX-30 is still quite attractive, only on par with the mid-range or high-range versions of B-SUV models like the Kia Seltos (724 million VND).

From the beginning of the year to the end of November, the Mazda CX-30 has only sold 1,521 cars, far behind the Toyota Corolla Cross (10,062 units).

With the Mazda CX-5, this model has 2 price adjustments in the last months of 2023, applicable to versions using 2.0L engines.

In early July, Mazda CX-5 was upgraded mid-life cycle, adding some equipment but reducing the price by up to 90 million VND compared to the old model.

Hyundai Tucson, Santa Fe

According to TC Motor’s announcement, the two Hyundai Tucson and Santa Fe models will have new selling prices applied from December 19.

Explaining this price adjustment, TC Motor said the reason was due to changes in supply and increased input component costs, affecting prices.

After the price increase, Hyundai Santa Fe still has a slight discount at the dealership, but the Tucson is sold at the correct price.

According to the reporter’s research, most dealers have sold out of diesel versions of the Tucson.

Peugeot 408

Launched to Vietnamese customers at the end of October, Peugeot 408 has recently had its selling price adjusted, increasing by 20 million VND in all 3 versions.

Peugeot 408 is located in the C-size SUV segment but is not placed `on the same plate` with Japanese or Korean models because the French brand is positioned at a `close to luxury` level.
